As a group, participants will be guided through experiential activities such as music making, songwriting, spoken word, discussions, and performance, learning how to use music as a tool for self-expression, self-care, and activism.
Blending the arts with social-emotional learning, participants:
- Create songs
Participate in drum circles and musical jams
Receive mentorship on approaches to writing (songs, poems/creative writing set to music)
Explore music-based mindfulness and other forms of self-care through music
- Receive coaching on performance technique
- Engage in discussions
Musically Me Unlimited culminates with a final performance to showcase works created during the program.

The structure of the program lends itself to an increase in coping skills and tools to be resilient, providing a safe space for self-expression, and opportunities for increased
self- esteem, self-care, creative expression, and problem solving through musical and socio-emotional exploration.
