King Creative Arts Expressions is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Musically Me Unlimited must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Students are guided through experiential activities such as music making, songwriting, spoken word, discussions, and performance, learning how to use music as a tool for self-expression, self-care, and community building.

Blending the arts with social-emotional learning, students:

  • Create songs
  • Participate in drum circles and musical jams

  • Receive mentorship on approaches to writing (songs, poems/creative writing set to music)

  • Explore music-based mindfulness and other forms of self-care through music

  • Receive coaching on performance technique
  • Engage in discussions

Musically Me Unlimited culminates with a final performance to showcase works created during the program.

The structure of the program lends itself to an increase in coping skills and tools to be resilient, providing a safe space for self-expression, and opportunities for increased self- esteem, self-care, creative expression, and problem solving through musical and socio-emotional exploration.
